Fellows

The Avenir Fellows Program is a hands-on fellowship for graduate students and recent graduates who want to build real expertise in global health. Fellows work across a range of engagements — from client projects to internal initiatives — contributing meaningfully from day one. Join a dynamic and collaborative team working on hard business problems in global health and life sciences!

Tracks

  • Winter/Spring

    No two projects look the same in global health strategy. Fellows work across product development, regulatory pathways, market access, and stakeholder strategy — building the kind of range that comes from learning to serve very different decision-makers, in very different contexts.

  • Summer

    For those who believe AI should work harder for underserved populations. Fellows work on building market intelligence tools and designing AI-enabled solutions that support better decision-making across the global health landscape.

  • Fall

    For those interested in how a small advisory firm operates and grows. Fellows work alongside the team on internal management activities such as alliance management, client experience, engagement coordination, and supporting how we communicate our work externally.

Eligibility

To be considered for the Avenir Fellows program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MPH, MBA, MS, or equivalent) or graduated within the past year

  • Experience in global health, pharmaceutical or medtech industry, consulting, or adjacent fields

  • Highly motivated self-starter with learning orientation and collaboration mindset

  • Available up to 10 hours per week during the Fellowship period

  • Based in or able to work in-person in Boston, MA

  • Authorized to work in the United States

Timing

We review applicants three times per year.

  • Send us your resume by July 1, 2026 for a Fall Semester Fellowship (BD Track)

  • Send us your resume by November 1, 2026 for a Winter/Spring Semester Fellowship (Global Health Strategy Track)

  • Our 2026 Summer Fellowship is full and will reopen for 2027, with deadline to apply will of April 1, 2027
